Incoming FFL Transfers

How a Transfer Works

Please complete these steps in order. This prevents delays and makes sure your pickup appointment can proceed smoothly.

Contact Tugboat First

Email before placing the order. Include your name, phone number, the seller or website, and the firearm you plan to purchase. Do not send identification documents or Form 4473 information.

Place the Order

Select Tugboat Supply Co. as the receiving FFL. The seller or dealer should send FFL and shipping information to transfers@tugboatsupplyco.com.

Wait for Confirmation

A carrier’s delivery notice does not mean the firearm is ready. Wait until Tugboat confirms it has been received, entered into the records, and is ready for pickup.

Schedule & Complete

Schedule an appointment, bring valid government-issued photo identification, and complete the required ATF Form 4473 and background-check process at pickup.

Appointment only: Tugboat Supply Co. serves customers in Mechanicsburg, Champaign County, and surrounding Central Ohio areas. The exact appointment location is provided directly when your pickup is confirmed.

If you decide to proceed, the order is handled through Tugboat and picked up by appointment after the required paperwork and background check.
